Kaya Scodelario (born Kaya Rose Humphrey on 15 February 1992 in Paddington, London) is an English actress and model. She is best known for her role as Effy Stonem in the E4 drama Skins.

First, you people may notice something, "What the hell is NBT??"
-NBT is Next Big Thing.

Okay, she's already big, at least in UK. But she's gonna be more HUGE than she is now.

With no prior acting experience, Scodelario was cast in the first series of Skins in 2007 as Effy Stonem, and was renowned for having very limited speaking lines. She returned to the second series in which her character was developed considerably, before eventually becoming the central character in the 2009 series. Scodelario and Lisa Backwell (who plays Pandora Moon) are the only actors from the original cast to return to the latest season. She has described how, in this role, at the age of only 16, she was able to cope with having to disrobe for several 'racy scenes'

It was freezing cold and I was like, 'Why, why would you do this in the woods?'

Kenapa gw bilang dia Next Big Thing? Karena menurut gw dia 'unik'. Di Skins series 1 & 2 karakter dia (Effy) jaraaang banget ngomong tapi kita bisa menerka apa yang dia maksud hanya dengan ekspresi wajah. Bahkan hanya dengan dia menggerakkan alis, dia dapat menyampaikannya dengan baik kepada penonton.

Ellen Page's New Movie !

It has already confirmed that Ellen Page joined the cast of Freeheld

According to IMDB, Freeheld is a movie about :

Lieutenant Laurel Hester is dying. All she wants to do is leave her pension benefits to her life partner - Stacie, so Stacie can afford to keep their house. Laurel is told no; they are not husband and wife. After spending a lifetime fighting for justice for other people, Laurel - a veteran New Jersey detective - launches a final battle for justice. Knuckle-biting, dramatic Freeheld chronicles a dying policewoman's bitter fight to provide for the love of her life.

" "Juno"-star Ellen Page is taking on another role, which the Americans think is controversial.
She has said yes to playing a lesbian in her next movie.
The 22-year-old Canadian actress had her break through last year as the pregnant teenager Juno MacGuff in Jason Reitman's social realistic comedy and now she's going to be in a drama about a real person.
The movie is about the New Jersey Police officer, Laurel Hester, who got known for her fight for equal rights in 2005.
While she was diagnosed with a lethal lung cancer, Hester fought for her girlfriend, with whom she lived in a registered partnership with, could get the same pension as a heterosexual spouse would have gotten.
Hester prevailed less than three weeks before she died on Feb. 18th 2006.
Page is taking on the role as Hester's girlfriend, Stacie Andree.
The actress' performance in "Juno" gave her an Oscar nomination."

Oh wait! Theres another News! There's a rumour that Ellen Page will play as Leonardo DiCaprio partner in Christopher Nolan's new movie called Inception.

The world knows what Christopher Nolan’s next movie isn’t doing (i.e. returning to Gotham City) but no one knows just what it is. However, it’s starting to take some shape with its casting, as according to The Hollywood Reporter, Leonardo DiCaprio is joining “Inception.”

The film is now being described as “a contemporary sci-fi thriller set within the architecture of the mind.” Nolan being Nolan, we all knew it would be something along the brain-bending lines of “Memento” and “The Prestige,” so that description will have you looking for the story’s twist before the film even begins rolling.

While Nolan is no slouch in the casting department, it’s pretty cool to see him expand beyond go-to guy Christian Bale, and bring in an actor like DiCaprio. Not only will “Inception” be DiCaprio’s first foray into science fiction, but it’s kind of a relief to see him work with a director that isn’t named Martin Scorsese.

Rumors have Ellen Page coming aboard the film — and since the rumor mill did end up being right about DiCaprio, don’t be surprised if she makes it official soon. Hopefully, that casting announcement will lift the veil on “Inception” a little bit more, so we actually have something to talk about.

Ellen Page is always good in choosing movie's role. She's not gonna play in a bad movie or a terrible character. Her character in a movie is always outstanding!
